Gracie H. Whittington, 88, of Columbus, passed away at her home Wednesdat, December 8, 2021.
Gracie was born in Brown County on July 24,1933. She worked at Ramada Inn for 26 years. She love quilting and salmon fishing on Lake Michigan.
Gracie is survived by her children, Dean Lucas of Butlerville, Audrey S. Whittington and Julie Tharp of Columbus; grandchildren, Warren Lucas, Bradley Lucas, Bridget Brandt (Bradley), Sarah Shaw (Joslin), and Benjamin Joslin; and 8 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James B. Whittington; son, Jerry Bradley; daughter, Bennie Joslin; granddaughter, Heather Bradley; and great-granddaughter, Annabell Lucas.
A funeral service for Gracie will be held Tuesday, December 14, at 12 p.m. at Myers-Reed Chapel. Friends may call for visitation from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m on Tuesday.
Myers-Reed Chapel is serving the Whittington family.
