Monday on Fox News, Sen Ron Johnson (R-WI) said “We all hoped and prayed the vaccines would be 100% effective, 100% safe, but they’re not. We now know that fully vaccinated individuals can catch COVID, they can transmit COVID, so what’s the point?”
That is excellent logic. I suggest we use it on traffic. We all hoped stop signs would eliminate 100% of automobile accidents, but they don’t. We now know that people who see stop signs run them, they cause accidents, so what’s the point?
Yes, indeed. Let’s not do anything that only reduces problems. If we can’t get 100%, why bother even trying? That’s the kind of leadership I expect from my elected officials.
