BRANDON, Fla.
Anna Elizabeth Chopp Sharp 96, died Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at her daughters home in Brandon, Florida.
Anna was born August 29, 1925, to John Valentine and Madge Viola Chopp. She married Claud Sharp April 20, 1944, in Cullman, Alabama. Their four daughters are Ann Howell, Jane Hart, Deborah Tichenor, and Claudia Bigelow; nine grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Anna was preceded in death by her parents, husband Claud, daughters Ann and Jane, grandson Jeff Hart and great-grandson Cody Roberts, two brothers James and Clyde and three sisters, Alice Roberts, Grace Whitehead, and Wanda Mullins. She is survived by her daughters Deborah Tichenor and Claudia Bigelow, sister, Glenda Howard, and her grandchildren.
Anna was baptized in Jesus’ name, filled with the Holy Ghost as a young teenager. She served Jesus faithfully until He called her home.
The funeral will be held at 5:00 p.m. Saturday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with the Pastor Danny Wilkerson officiating.
Family and friends may call from 4:00 p.m. to time of service at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
