Monsters of Rock and CCA picked up victories last week, and Hansons won by forfeit to remain unbeaten in the Columbus Broomball League.
Monsters (4-1-1) blanked Jennings County BC (1-4-1) 4-0. Rodolfo Velasquez, Rob Jones, Josh D’Anna and Zack Henderson scored the goals, and Ben Eckhart posted the shutout in net.
CCA beat Toyota Tsunamis 5-1. Shawn Bauman netted three goals, and Scott Herron and Greg Thomas each added one for CCA (1-4-1). Greg McNealy had the goal for Tsunamis (2-4).
Hansons (5-0-1) picked up a 3-0 forfeit victory over Our Name Is Earl (3-3).
In the Iron Man game, Team 2 and 3 beat Team 1 and 4 6-4 behind four goals from Matt Street and one each from Darren Eckerly and Herron. Max Warr scored two goals, and Ellie Lutz and Ryan Ingalls each had one for Team 1 and 4.
Teams 3 and 4 both are 3-2, and Teams 1 and 2 both are 2-3 in the Iron Man standings.
