Columbus Christian found itself trailing in the first quarter Tuesday night, but fought back over the final three quarters to claim a 54-30 win against Living Water.
Sarah Lorimor finished with 19 points to lead the Crusaders (13-11). Madi Blair and Eva Blair each added 10.
Senators stop Lancers
CAMPBELLSBURG — Edinburgh saw its season come to an end with a 47-33 loss to host West Washington in the opening round of the Class A West Washington Sectional.
The Lancers finish the season 8-11.
Cougars fall to Pacers
HANOVER — South Decatur bowed out of the tournament with a 42-31 loss to Switzerland County in the first round of the 2A Southwestern (Hanover) Sectional.
The Cougars finish the season 4-17.
BOYS BASKETBALL
Arrows top Eagles
SULLIVAN — Class 3A No. 5 Sullivan built a double-digit lead after the first quarter and eventually cruised to an 80-37 win over Brown County.
Josh Miller finished with 10 points to lead the Eagles (2-12, 0-8).
