Gravity COVID-19 testing site preparing to open Friday, weather permitting

COLUMBUS, Ind. — The Indiana Department of Health and Bartholomew County Health Department are working with Gravity Diagnostics to provide an additional COVID-19 testing site.

The Gravity testing site will be located at the previous health department building, 2675 FoxPointe Drive, Suite B in Columbus.

It is set to open Friday, weather permitting.

Hours of operation will be 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

No appointment is necessary at the site and individuals receive test results from [email protected] by the next day at midnight.

The county health department will continue to provide free drive-thru COVID testing, by appointment. To schedule, visit coronavirus.in.gov and select “find a testing site.” Rapid COVID-19 testing is not available from the health department at this time.
