Lasure named to Touchstone Energy board

Marty Lasure

Marty Lasure, vice president of communications and member services at Bartholomew County Rural Electric Member Cooperative (REMC), was recently elected to the board of directors of Touchstone Energy. She begins a three-year term on March 4 at the board’s national organizational meeting in Nashville, Tennessee.

The board consists of 13 volunteer members responsible for setting policy, establishing long-term goals, monitoring general operations and approving organizational outcomes and resource allocations.

Lasure has worked with Bartholomew County REMC for 15 years and has served in her current role as vice president of communications and member services for six years.

Touchstone Energy Cooperatives is a national network of electric cooperatives across 46 states providing resources and leveraging partnerships to help member cooperatives and employees better serve their members. Bartholomew County REMC joined Touchstone in 1998.
