Crusaders win twice

Columbus Christian picked up back-to-back victories Monday and Tuesday to run its winning streak to five.

The Crusaders beat Trinity Christian 69-47 on Monday. Noah Edwards scored 14 points, while Gabe Ridder added 12, Payton Walden 10 and Peyton Rehlander nine.

On Tuesday, Columbus Christian (18-10) topped Shawe Memorial 75-60. Ridder scored 20 points, while Rehlander and Edwards each had 15, Pritchard nine and Kiefer eight.

Lancers fall to Bears

SHELBYVILLE — Class A No. 1 Edinburgh endured only its second loss of the season, a 68-58 setback Tuesday at Shelbyville.

The game was tied 42-42 after three quarters before the Golden Bears outscored the Lancers 26-16 in the final period.

Caleb Dewey led Edinburgh with 24 points. Travis Jones scored 13, and Landen Burton added 11.
