Two join Heritage Fund board

Heritage Fund – The Community Foundation of Bartholomew County, has two new board members.

Joining the board are Anuja Mazgaonkar and Sarla Kalsi.

Mazgaonkar has been with Cummins for 24 years and is the financial controller for the company’s power systems business, She started in the finance department in India and worked in various roles before coming the leader for Cummins Business Services in India and Asia Pacific. She moved to the U.S. in 2008 and has held controller roles in fuel systems, new and recon parts as well as the former power generation business. She is a chartered accountant and also a Kelley MBA graduate.

She serves on the board of the Hindu Society of Southern Indiana and has been a member of the Heritage Fund’s finance committee.

Kalsi is executive director of the Irwin-Sweeney-Miller Foundation. Her previous work experience also includes president, CEO and board member positions for Irwin Management Company, Inc., chairman and CEO of IMC Advisors LLC and president and board member of Tipton Lakes Co. Inc. She received her MBA from Columbia University.

She has worked with the Columbus Visitors Center, International School of Indiana in Indianapolis, Columbus Economic Development Board, Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra Fo0undation, Christian Theological Seminary, Clarian Health Partners and United Way of Bartholomew county. She is a former chair of the Heritage Fund’s Outreach Committee.
