COLUMBUS, Ind. — The National Weather Service has issued a flood watch from tonight through late Tuesday.
Forecasters are predicting heavy rainfall is possible for Bartholomew, Brown, Jackson, Decatur and Jennings counties.
Last week’s rainfall caused many creeks and streams to be at high levels already, and forecasters are predicting flooding is possible with this next storm.
Showers and embedded thunderstorms are expected to arrive late Monday night and continue into Tuesday with 1 to 2 inches of rain possible, with locally higher amounts also possible.
