Olympians fall to Floyd
FLOYDS KNOBS — Floyd Central wrapped up an unbeaten Hoosier Hills Conference season Wednesday night with a 56-33 win against Columbus East.
The Olympians (7-14, 1-5) were within 15-12 after one quarter and 24-17 at halftime before the Highlanders pulled away in the second half.
Ben Sylva led East with 14 points. Zane Moravec added eight.
Lancers set school record
NASHVILLE — Class A No. 8 Edinburgh set a school record for most regular season wins in school history with a 91-37 victory at Brown County.
The Lancers (19-3) jumped out to a 31-6 lead after one quarter and led 52-13 at halftime. Jarrett Turner led Edinburgh with 24 points, while Caleb Dewey added 21, Connor Ramey 12, Travis Jones 11, Riley Palmeter 10 and Landen Burton nine.
Josh Miller led the Eagles (2-19) with 15 points. Ben Wagler added 10.
