COLUMBUS
It is with sadness that the daughters of Carolyn Muirhead announce that on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 in Columbus IN, at the age of 90, she passed peacefully to await the return of the Lord. Carolyn was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, William, in 2013.
Carolyn was born on July 4, 1931 in Newark, New Jersey. While attending church, Carolyn met William in the choir and they were married on October 20,1951. They were blessed with two girls, Lorraine Carol Low and Louise Ann Patch.
Carolyn worked as an insurance underwriter for many years in central Indiana. After they both retired, Carolyn and William moved to The Villages in 1997. There they enjoyed many activities and traveling. Carolyn had a great love of music and dancing, especially with her beloved partner, William. Both loved hosting dinners and bridge parties. Carolyn was well known for her delicious meals and desserts.
Besides her daughters, Carolyn is survived by her four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, we ask that memorial donation be made to Our Hospice of South-Central Indiana.
