CRH to begin work at Clarion site in preparation for development

COLUMBUS, Ind. – Columbus Regional Hospital has announced that excavating crews will commence the break down and redistribution of the large pile of construction materials from the I-65 roadwork project on the State Road 46 site, the former Clarion
Hotel property. This work is part of site preparation for the Columbus Regional Health facility and other future development.

This phase of work will take about six weeks to further refine the material pile in preparation for necessary site improvements, hospital officials said. CRH is moving forward with its facility and site plans independent of any developer involvement in order to meet its timelines and goals. Columbus Regional Health plans to build a medical office building on a portion of the property. Detailed facility plans will be forthcoming, with the goal to have services in place by the end of 2023, hospital officials said.
