PALM HARBOR, Fla. — Tyler Duncan entered Sunday”s final round of the Valspar Championship tied for 11th place, but fell to a tie for 25th following a 2-over-par 73.
Duncan, a 2008 Columbus North graduate, shot 69, 69 and 65 the first three rounds. He finished at 8-under 276 for the tournament.
Sam Burns beat Davis Riley on the second hole of a playoff after both finished at 17-under 267. Justin Thomas and Matthew NeSmith were one shot back at 16-under 268.
