AMERICAN PIE 2022, 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., April 28, Columbus North High School, 1400 25th St., Columbus. American Pie started out on Thursdays, and is returning to that tradition as the concert returns to in-person. American Pie gives high school students the chance to shine on stage for a crowd of cheering fans. For community members, it is a walk down memory lane, an entertaining rock ‘n’ roll show, and a history lesson rolled into one fabulous night. Enjoy an evening of music presented by talented students as they recreate performances from the rockin’ decades. Commentary puts the songs in context to create a Magical History Tour. Together with the Columbus Parks and Recreation Department, the library is excited to bring you “The Things About Bees” by Shabazz Larking in April. The StoryWalk is located along the People Trail near the Pollinator Park in Blackwell Park.

BARTHOLOMEW COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY, 524 Third St., Columbus. The museum is open Tuesday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. BCHS hosts two permanent exhibits that share the history and heritage of Bartholomew County. Learn about our county through interactive, hands-on exhibits that include a map table, notable people, county timeline, Then and Now, Did you Know, early industrialists and videos of Reeves steam engines.
