I want to be clear that I support efforts to help the people of Ukraine. The Republic posted their ‘We Stand with Ukraine’ featuring a split flag – our country’s flag combined with the Ukrainian flag. As this page is turned, we see ‘Pray for Ukraine’ with an ad where the U.S. flag is to the right of the Ukrainian flag.
I Agree with the message, but ask that we look at the United States flag codes and be sure that in our shouts of support that we are treating our own flag with the respect it is due.
