The nomination period for the Bull Dog Alumni Hall of Fame is nearing the deadline of May 1.
In 2012, the Bull Dog Alumni Association established an Alumni Hall of Fame to recognize Columbus High School/Columbus North High School graduates for their professional achievements and personal contributions to enhance the lives of others and society.
The criteria for nomination is as follows:
- Nominees must be alumni of Columbus High School or Columbus North High School.
- Nominees must be alumni from at least 20 years prior to the date of nomination.
- Nominees may have excelled in a wide range of areas such as fine arts, performing arts, business, education, health care, journalism, law, literature, media, public service, science, sports, or other areas. There is no common area that all nominees must represent.
- Nominations may be submitted by alumni, parents, current students, Columbus North faculty or staff, school district administrators or any interested person. Alumni, however, may not self-nominate.
The Class of 2022 inductees will be announced in June. The festivities are scheduled for Sept. 23.
