COLUMBUS
Brian R. “TAZ” Hendricks, 72, passed away at home on Tuesday, March 29th, 2022. He was the 1950 New Year’s Baby in Columbus, Indiana, and was born to Kenneth P. and Sheila (McDonnell) Hendricks.
Brian graduated from Columbus High School in 1969, married and had a son, Joseph Michael. He attended Indiana University and had a 32 year career at Cummins Engine Company before retiring. He married Autumne G. Hash in 1980 and they were married for 42 years.
Brian is survived by his wife, Autumne; son, Joe (Joan) Roach; grandsons, Griffin (21) and Dylan (17) Roach; sister, (Barry) Jan Glazer; brother, Kevin Hendricks and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
In keeping with the family’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a service of remembrance will be held on Saturday, April 23rd, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Barkes, Weaver &Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with John Sichting officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home. Friends and family are encouraged to share their funny stories and memories of Brian.
