COLUMBUS
Helen L. Crase, 73, of Columbus died at 3:10 p.m. Monday April 25, 2022 at Our Hospice Inpatient Facility.
Helen was born January 22, 1949, in Columbus, Indiana the daughter of Thurman and Lillie Mae (Barger) Brown. She married George Crase on February 20, 1971.
Helen retired from being a deli bakery manager for a number of years and was a member of the Seventh Street Church of God. She enjoyed preparing meals and feeding everyone she encountered. She was a caring woman with a generous heart.
Helen is survived by her son, Brian (Emily) Crase of Columbus, and grandson Brandon Crase.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George Crase, brother, David Earl Brown, sisters, Phyllis Shepherd Neville and Betty J. Johnson.
Visitation will be held at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home, 3855 25th Street, Columbus IN on Friday, April 29, 2022 from 4 – 8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday. The Funeral Service will be held at Seventh Street Church of God, officiated by Pastor Jerry Ballard located at 2005 7th Street, Columbus, IN at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 30, 2022 followed by a burial service at Garland Brook Cemetery.
