A Columbus North High School student’s senior project raised more than $800 for a local domestic violence charity from the sale of custom-made T-shirts that called attention to sexual assault.

Reagan Ables designed and sold T-shirts marking “Denim Day” April 27, in which people wear denim to highlight issues around sexual assault.

Ables sold 120 shirts, raising $840 for Turning Point Domestic Violence Services in Columbus. She also taught a lesson to Columbus North students on Denim Day. Senior project committee members gave Ables a perfect score and said her project is making a real difference.
