U.S. Representative District 6 nominees: Rep. Greg Pence, R-Ind. (incumbent) and Cynthia Wirth, Democrat
State Rep. District 59 nominee: Rep. Ryan Lauer, R-Columbus (incumbent)
Bartholomew County Prosecutor: Lindsey Holden-Kay, Republican
Bartholomew County Assessor: Ginny Whipple, Republican, incumbent
Bartholomew County Council District 1: Greg Patterson, Republican
Bartholomew County Council District 2: Leah Beyer, Republican
Bartholomew County Council District 3: Mark Gorbett, Republican, incumbent
Hope Town Council (Republican): Stephanie Long and Shanon Pitman
Elizabethtown Town Council (Republican): Rick Mullins, Mike Phillips and Levi Brown

With 12 of 13 voting centers reporting, Republican County Council District 2 challenger Leah Beyer has a 13 vote lead over incumbent Greg Duke.
The Associated Press has declared incumbent Rep. Greg Pence, R-Ind., the GOP nominee for U.S. Representative District 6.
Council candidates Mark Gorbett (GOP incumbent in District 3) and GOP challenger in District 1, Greg Patterson, lead their races.
Incumbent Rep. Ryan Lauer, R-Columbus, has extended his lead over challenger Bill Nash, and prosecutor candidate Lindsey Holden-Kay has extended her lead over Joshua Scherschel in that GOP race.
Incumbent Republican Ginny Whipple continues to lead in the county assessor race.
8:10 p.m. update
With nine of 13 voting centers reporting, incumbent Rep. Ryan Lauer, R-Columbus, has extended his lead over challenger Bill Nash, and prosecutor candidate Lindsey Holden-Kay has extended her lead over Joshua Scherschel in that GOP race.
On the Democratic side of the Sixth District congressional race, Cynthia Wirth has a substantial lead against George T. Holland.
Incumbent Republican Ginny Whipple continues to lead in the county assessor race.
In the County Council District 1 GOP race, Greg Patterson has the lead over incumbent Scott Bonnell and Dave London.
In the County Council District 2 race, challenger Republican Leah Beyer has the lead over incumbent and county council president Greg Duke, although the vote separation appears to be narrowing.
Incumbent Mark Gorbett is in the lead for the GOP County Council District 3 race over Derick Olson.

With six of 13 voting centers reporting, incumbent Rep. Ryan Lauer, R-Columbus, is maintaining his lead over challenger Bill Nash, and prosecutor candidate Lindsey Holden-Kay has extended her lead over Joshua Scherschel in that GOP race.
On the Democratic side of the Sixth District congressional race, Cynthia Wirth has a substantial lead against George T. Holland.
In the Hope town council at large race for the GOP, the two leaders are Clyde Compton and Shanon Pittman.

COLUMBUS, Ind. – Absentee ballots and early voting results have been posted by the Bartholomew County Clerk’s office. National media outlets are already projecting Rep. Greg Pence, R-Indiana, as the winner in his primary race against James Dean Alspach.
On the Democratic side of the Sixth District race, Cynthia Wirth is in the lead against George T. Holland.
In other races of note, incumbent Rep. Ryan Lauer, R-Columbus, is ahead of challenger Bill Nash, and prosecutor candidate Lindsey Holden-Kay is leading Joshua Scherschel in that GOP race.
Incumbent GOP assessor Ginny Whipple leads challenger Laura DeDomenic in the assessor race.
These are only the results of early voting and 13 voting centers have yet to be reported.

COLUMBUS, Ind. — Polls closed at 6 p.m. for today’s primary, but some last-minute dropped off absentee ballots have delayed the posting of initial results.
The first results expected to be posted soon are the early voting and absentee ballots, according to the clerk’s office.
That will be followed by the 13 voting centers reporting in.
