COLUMBUS
Larry R. Worley, 76, of Columbus, passed away at 2:24 a.m. Sunday, May 8, 2022 at Columbus Regional Hospital.
Larry was born October 30, 1945, in Beckley, West Virginia, the son of Alf and Lena Cooley Worley. On December 4, 1972, he married Marian L. Erfft.
Mr. Worley graduated Bloomington High School in 1964. He was an avid bowler and loved I.U. Basketball. Larry enjoyed listening to music by Elvis Presley. Additionally, he was an animal lover, especially cats. In his spare time, Larry spent his time at local coffee houses chatting with friends and acquaintances.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Marian; children, Wynita (Christain Smith) Worley of Florence, Kentucky, Christopher (Dane Elder) Worley of Louisville, Kentucky and sister, Helen Rose of Hopkinsville, Kentucky.
In keeping with the family’s request, cremation will take place and no services are planned.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Bartholomew County Humane Society or Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.
