KNOXVILLE, TENNESSEE
Ronald E. Boxell, 61, a native of Columbus, Indiana and a resident of Knoxville, Tennessee; passed from this life Saturday, May 7, 2022, at his home.
Ronald was born in Columbus, April 26, 1961, the loving son of Everett and Nannie Lou Gaines Boxell. On June 6, 2006, Ronald married Donna G. Gaines; she survives.
Ronald is a United States Air Force veteran and is a retiree of The Kroger Company and Food City Supermarkets.
Ronald is survived by his wife, Donna; sisters, Thena (Scott) Hebron of Westland, Michigan and Nancy (Jim) Lowry of Columbus; nieces and nephews, Patrick Hebron of Westland, Michigan, Kyle (Scott) Witting of Alexandria, Kentucky, and Kelly (Palak) Patel of Columbus; and great-nephews, Luca Witting of Alexandria, Kentucky and Bodhi Patel of Columbus.
Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, Everett and Nannie Lou Boxell.
A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 17, 2022, in the Garden of Devotion at the Garland Brook Cemetery.
Family and friends may gather for visitation from 11 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Tuesday at Barkes, Weaver &Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street.
