Mill Race Marathon training program begins Saturday

The Mill Race Marathon’s free training program will begin at 7 a.m. Saturday at YES Cinema.

The 17-week training program will include eight weeks of 30-to-40-minute classes, followed by a running practice as a group with Columbus Running Club. Classroom topics include running tips, shoes and running attire, core strength, cross-training, stretching, injury prevention and nutrition.
