The annual SALUTE! patriotic concert by the Columbus Indiana Philharmonic will take center stage on the lawn of the Bartholomew County Courthouse on Friday night, and we’ve got a preview of the annual tribute to veterans and those who serve in today’s edition.
In the SALUTE! supplement inside today’s edition of The Republic, you’ll find all the event details in the center pullout section. You’ll also find stories of local people who have served our country, those who continue to serve our veterans, and local people who are keeping alive the memories of our fallen heroes.
The theme of this year’s SALUTE! concert is “Freedom Isn’t Free,” and you’ll find that theme reflected in these stories.
