Bartholomew County Sheriff deputies have made an arrest after an investigation into a May 23 burglary in the 11000 block of South County road 800W.
During the investigation, deputies were able to determine the identity of the suspect, William Carnahan, Jr. 49, Columbus.
Members of the Intelligence Led Policing Unit (ILPU) located evidence that led to a warrant being issued for Carnahan’s arrest.
Carnahan was located in Shepherdsville, Kentucky where he was taken into custody by Shepherdsville Police Department without incident.
Carnahan is in the Bullitt County Jail and is being held for a Larue County, Kentucky, warrant before being extradited to Indiana, deputies said.
