Lancers fall in final
MORRISTOWN — Edinburgh made it to the sectional final Monday before falling to host Indianapolis Lutheran 12-2 in six innings.
Starting pitcher Travis Jones and Riley Palmeter had the lone hits for the Lancers (6-16).
In the semifinals, Edinburgh pulled out a 7-6 win against Waldron. Palmeter went 2 for 3 with two RBIs, and Travis Jones smacked a home run.
Cougars fall to Rebels
VERSAILLES — South Decatur routed South Ripley 16-0 in the opening round before falling to Southwestern (Hanover) 4-1 in the semifinals of the South Ripley Sectional.
The Cougars end the season 18-7.
Eagles top Trinity
OSGOOD — Trinity Lutheran fell to Jac-Cen-Del 6-1 in the semifinals of the Jac-Cen-Del Sectional.
The Cougars finish the season 9-18.
