Columbus North senior Rachel Cowan has committed to continue her softball career for the new program at IUPUC.
Cowan went 8-0 with a 0.82 ERA and 86 strikeouts in 51 innings pitched this season in helping the Bull Dogs to a 20-4 record. She also batted .317 with five home runs and 18 RBIs.
IUPUC is starting intercollegiate athletics this fall. North graduate Tommi Stowers is coach of the Crimson Pride softball team that will begin play next spring.
