COLUMBUS, INDIANA
Jack Douglas “Doug” Dixon, 60, of Columbus, passed away Tuesday May 31, 2022 at his home. He was born July 18, 1961 in Jellico, Tennessee the son of Jack and Anna Jeanette Dixon.
Doug was a member of the Walker Chapel Church. He enjoyed fishing and classic cars. He loved music by playing the guitar. He was a loving dad and brother who enjoyed making people laugh and was a handy man who enjoyed helping others.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday June 4, 2022 at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Roy Hendershot officiating. Following the service, he will be laid to rest in Flat Rock Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Doug is survived by his daughter, Nicole Dixon, of Columbus; father, Jack Dixon, of Seymour; sisters, Glenda Dixon and Brenda McKinney, both of Columbus; brother, Brian Scott Dixon, of Columbus5 nieces, 1 nephew, 2 great nieces and 3 great nephews. Doug was preceded in death by his mother and a brother, Darryl Dixon.
