COLUMBUS
Louie Rojas Jr, 62 of Columbus passed from this life on Monday, June 20, 2022, at 5:14 a.m. at his home surrounded by his children.
Mr. Rojas was born in Pomona, California the son of Luis Rojas Sr. and Alexandrina Torrez Rojas.
Louie retired after 30 plus years as a Leadman at Composite Horizon. He had resided in California and recently moved to Columbus, Indiana to live out his retirement with his children and grandchildren. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and enjoyed sitting around a campfire and a cold Coors Light.
Survivors include his children, Debra D. Rojas and Chris White of Columbus, Luis Rojas III of Columbus, Tamara Dawn Rojas of Arizona; inherited children, Vanessa Bordeaux and Andrew Ollaca; grandchildren, McKenzii, Nicholas, Donovan, Layni, Kade; siblings, Suzanne Rojas, Joann Rojas, Leonard Rojas, Diane Rojas Salazar, Corrine Rojas, Roman Rojas; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Maryanne Martinez and Larry Rojas.
Services have been entrusted to Barkes, Weaver &Glick Funeral Home.
In keeping with Mr. Rojas’ wishes cremation will take place and a celebration of life service will be held in California later this summer.
