Local nonprofit organization The Arc of Bartholomew County raised nearly $20,000 at its “Always Ready for Chocolate” fundraising event Saturday, June 25 at The Commons.
Fund raised at the event will support The Arc of Bartholomew County’s mission of promoting and protecting the human rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and actively supporting their full inclusion and participation in the community throughout their lifetimes.
Pieces of art from the event’s art show, which features art created by individuals with disabilities, are still for sale on The Arc of Bartholomew County’s website, thearcbc.org. Half of the proceeds from all art sales go to the artist while the other half goes to The Arc’s fundraising efforts.
