Lois V. Thomas, 80, passed away July 06, 2022, at home in Columbus, Indiana. Lois was born April 26, 1942, in Washington County to the late Ernest &Bertha Wells.
Lois married Harry F. Thomas in 1982. He passed on June 21, 2005. She loved the outdoors, especially mushroom hunting, creeks, &shady lanes. She loved to decorate and celebrate Christmas. She loved collecting pictures and articles on Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis. She worked at the hospital as a nurse for several years as well as Doctor’s offices.
She is survived by two daughters, Kimberly (Marlon) Vaughn, &Tonya (Bryce) Larson. Also, she has one sister Barbara Robarge and 2 brothers David (Janet) Wells, and Richard (Trina) Wells. Proceeding Lois in death were her parents; husband; and 2 brothers, Lowell &Steven Wells.
Family and friends may call for visitation Monday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Barkes, Weaver &Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street.
Private burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
In memory of Mrs. Thomas memorial contributions may be given through the funeral home to the Bartholomew County Humane Society.
