COLUMBUS
Nichole Jean Vreeland, 46, of Columbus, passed from this life at 7:40 a.m. Monday, July 11, 2022, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.
Nicki was born October 13, 1975, in Robbinsdale, Minnesota, the daughter of Frank L. and Vicki J. Siewert Ganley.
She married Richard W. Vreeland January 2, 1999.
Nicki served as the Coordinator of the Healthy Communities Mental Health Action Team at CRH, working on suicide prevention, increasing access to mental health services, and substance use prevention.
She was a member of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church and served as a board member of Family Service Inc.
Survivors include her husband Rick of 23 years; children, Dakota, Cole and Tora Vreeland all of Columbus; her parents, Frank and Vicki Ganley of MN; and her siblings, Jacqui (Mike) Eberhart, Charity Ganley and Chaz (Angela) Ganley all of MN.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church with Father Chris Wadleton officiating.
Family and friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at Barkes, Weaver &Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street.
Burial will be at Flat Rock Baptist Cemetery.
