Construction fencing going up at NexusPark

Mike Wolanin | The Republic Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb gives a statewide update on his Regional Economic Acceleration and Development Initiative or READI program at NexusPark in Columbus, Ind., Thursday, June 30, 2022. The state has appropriated money from the READI program to the City of Columbus to help complete NexusPark.

COLUMBUS, Ind. — NexusPark will have construction fencing going up around the north side of the building beginning July 25 in preparation for demolition of the former Goody’s space and beginning of construction.

The fencing will close the entire north side of the property to public traffic, including closing the northern loop road to “through” traffic from Herman Darlage Drive to Central Avenue. All traffic on the east side of the property needs to use Herman Darlage Road.

Public parking will be available in the south parking lot near Dunham Sports and the Riviera Maya Mexican Restaurant area. Entry into NexusPark will be located at the entrance nearest Riviera Maya.
