COLUMBUS
Timothy K. Anderson, 63, of Columbus, passed from this life at 7:42 p.m. Monday, September 5, 2022, at his home.
Mr. Anderson was born August 24, 1959, in Sparta, Kentucky, the son of Arthur and Mable Tolliver Anderson.
Timothy was employed as a team leader at Hisada America Inc. and was a member of the Second Baptist Church.
Survivors include his children, Dominic Anderson of Columbus, Demetruis (Sally Miller) Anderson of Indianapolis, Misty (Doug) Hess of Clinton, Mark (Jackie) Purvis of Columbus, Michelle Purvis of Columbus and Jessica Hopson of Columbus; eleven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother, Mark Anderson of Columbus; sister, Sarah (Rick) Jewell of New Albany; companion, Mammie K. Dunn of Columbus; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Anderson; mother, Mable Anderson-Young; brother, Chuck Anderson and sister, Sheri Anderson.
The funeral will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. Tuesday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with the Rev. Larry Rowe officiating.
Family and friends may call from 10:00 a.m. to time of service Tuesday at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
