COLUMBUS
Gregory Lewis Stephenson left us to be with the lord on Monday, September 5, 2022. He was born on September 2, 1975, to Ricky Stephenson and Charline (Riddle) Ison, and he resided in Columbus, Indiana all his adult life. Greg was married to his loving wife of 8 years, Danielle Stephenson. He worked in the Caf? at Speedway in Taylorsville, Indiana for the past year in a half, and was a long-time former employee of Quality Machine and Tool Works Inc. in Columbus, Indiana.
Greg enjoyed Kentucky Wildcats Basketball and football, attending Nascar races, woodworking, and making things for friends and family. He absolutely loved cooking for a lot of friends and family, and was an all-around funny guy that adored making people laugh! His wonderful sense of humor will be forever missed.
Greg is survived by his father and stepmother, Ricky and Reeta Stephenson of Glasgow, KY; mother and stepfather, Charline and Phillip Ison of Hope, IN; wife, Danielle Stephenson, of Columbus, IN; two daughters, Kyla Jones and Ryanna Petro, both of Columbus, IN; brothers, Richard and Chasidy Stephenson of Hope, IN, and Shawn Ison of Milan, IN; nephews, Richard Stephenson Jr., and Nick Stephenson of Hope, IN; and niece, Shyanne Ison of Milan, IN.
Gregory was preceded in Death by grandparents, Robert and Ruby Stephenson, and Paul and Flora Riddle.
The funeral service will take place on Monday, September 12, 2022, at 1 PM and will be held at Flintwood Wesleyan Church in Columbus, Indiana with Pastor Wes Jones officiating the service. Visitation will be from 4 PM to 7 PM on Sunday, September 11, 2022, also held at the church. Burial will take place at Bethel Baptist Cemetery after the service.
