Legal Aid to have clinic

Legal Aid will have a free walk-in clinic from 3 to 5 p.m. Sept. 27 at the Legal Aid Office, 1531 13th St., for low-income residents.

Legal advice on civil matters will be given from 3 to 4 p.m. and an eviction clinic will be from 4 to 5 p.m.

The Legal Aid Clinic and Pro Bono program utilizes volunteer attorneys offering free legal consultations to low-income individuals to provide legal advice to those who might otherwise not be able to afford it.

Individuals may expect a 10-minute consultation to answer general questions, offer legal information or to receive other limited assistance, on a first-come, first-serve basis. There is no need to register in advance.
