Organizers with an American Junior Golf Association tournament have presented Foundation for Youth with $75,000.

The AJGA’s 2022 Circle K Junior Championship was held at Otter Creek Golf Course in late June. This marked the event’s 10th year, with Circle K serving as the title sponsor for seven years.

According to a press release from FFY, Executive Director Chuck Kime and students from the local Boys and Girls Club recently received a check from the tournament.

“In its tenth year at Otter Creek, this event brings together young players from around the country to compete in the AJGA Junior Tournament,” said FFY officials. “In addition Circle K, title sponsor, hosts an invitational for Circle K supplier companies with part of the proceeds going to Foundation for Youth programming. This year the committee was pleased to announce a charitable partnership check to FFY for $74,570.00.”

Foundation For Youth (FFY) is one of the junior championship’s main beneficiaries. Additionally, FFY students attended the tournament’s junior golf clinic this year.
