Free electronics recycling in Seymour on Saturday

The Indiana Department of Environmental Management, Technology Recyclers, Cummins Inc. and the Jackson County Solid Waste Management District are hosting a free electronics recycling event from 9 a.m. until noon on Saturday, Nov. 5, at 847 East 4th St., Seymour.

This electronics recycling collection event is open to the public and helps to keep hazardous waste found in electronics from ending up in landfills. Unwanted electronics can be dropped off by drive-up or walk-up at no cost.

For a contactless delivery, please stay in your vehicle and staff from Technology Recyclers will unload your unwanted electronics. Accepted e-waste items include TVs, cables and wiring, cellphones, computer towers and monitors, printers, batteries, camcorders and cameras, copiers, DVD players, DVR devices, microwaves, games systems, e-readers, printers, routers, scanners and more.
