It’s a sweet time of year for cookie lovers. First United Methodist Church makes certain of that.
The congregation’s 32nd Annual Cookie Walk is scheduled from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at the church fellowship hall at 618 Eighth St. in downtown Columbus. Buyers may create their own box of decorated and specialty cookies sold by the pound, plus select fudge, divinity and other candies sold by the half pound.
Varities of treats include those that are allergy friendly and vegan as well.
All proceeds go to support local, state and international outreaches and missions. Love Chapel has been one of the local beneficiaries.
