COLUMBUS
Ronald G. Lynn, 69, of Columbus passed from this life on Monday, November 28, 2022, at his home.
Mr. Lynn was born on July 22, 1953, in Columbus the son of Ralph and Margaret Ketchum Lynn.
Mr. Lynn was a great friend to many. He enjoyed time with his family, socializing, golfing, and bowling. He was kind, he was forgiving, and had an incredible wit. Ron always enjoyed making people laugh, many times at his own expense, with a quick joke or a Facebook post. His greatest joy in life was entertaining his two grandchildren and watching their various activities. They were his world, and he was theirs.
Survivors include his wife, Nikki Overman Lynn of Columbus; son, Jonathan (Ashley) Lynn of Greenwood; grandchildren, Mason and Jolie Lynn; brothers and sisters-in-law, Nancy Lynn, Ruth Lynn, Spanky and Kim Overman, Chad and Heidi Leinart; and several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Roger Lynn, Tom Lynn, Doug Lynn; and sister and brother-in-law, Linda (Doug) Moore.
In keeping with Mr. Lynn’s wishes cremation will take place and a memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday at Barkes, Weaver &Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Virgil Clotfelter officiating.
Family and friends may gather for visitation from 11:00 a.m. till time of service Monday at the funeral home.
