Duane “Wayne” Hadley, 69 of Edinburgh, Indiana passed away December 2, 2022 at his residence. He was born July 31, 1953 in Columbus, Indiana. He was the son of Willard and Dorinda E. (Denton) Hadley.
He is survived by his brothers, Donald Hadley of Edinburgh, Indiana, Herbert (Dorothy) Hadley of Amity, Indiana, Phillip Hadley of Edinburgh, Indiana, Willard Hadley, Jr. of Edinburgh, Indiana, and Gary Hadley of Amity, Indiana, sisters, Phyllis (Mike) Chasteen of Edinburgh, Indiana, Tammy (Guy) Hardin of Amity, Indiana, Melinda (Gene) Kelsay of Edinburgh, Indiana, Cindy (Kevin) Streeval of Taylorsville, Indiana, and Juanita Potter of Taylorsville, Indiana, sister-in-law, Geneva Hadley of Hope, Indiana, and Bonnie, his dog.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Rodger Hadley and Jack Hadley, and sisters-in-law, Cathy Hadley and Debbie Hadley.
Wayne retired from Amos-Hill Veneer and later worked at Bertha’s restaurant in Edinburgh. He enjoyed playing board games, cards, and Corn Hole with his family, attending his nieces’ and nephew’s ballgames, fishing, hunting, and spending time with his dog, Bonnie.
A funeral service will be conducted by Reverend Anthony Wiggington at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 9, 2022 at Edinburgh Separate Baptist Church. Calling will be Thursday, from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at the church and Friday from 10:00 AM until time of service. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
