BCSC names new director of secondary education, athletic director

COLUMBUS, Ind. — The Bartholomew Consolidated School Corp. has announced two upcoming leadership changes at both Columbus East High School and the district at large.

The school board voted Monday to appoint Director of Title Services Charles Edwards as BCSC’s new director of secondary education. The board also approved Columbus East Assistant Athletics Director and Dean of Students David Miller as the school’s head athletics director.

According to school officials, both Edwards and Miller will remain in their current positions until June 30, 2023. Edwards will replace BCSC Director of Secondary Education Bill Jensen, who is set to retire in June. East’s current athletics director, Pete Huse, is also set to retire at the end of the year, said BCSC officials.
