Olivia Irene Humes

COLUMBUS

Olivia Irene Humes, 30, of Columbus, passed from this life at 9:24 p.m. Monday, January 9, 2023, as the result of an automobile accident.

Olivia was born June 1, 1992, in Columbus, the daughter of Bruce and Archele A. Snyder Humes.

She graduated from Columbus North High School in 2010 and was currently employed at IHOP in Columbus.

She was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church.

Her smile could light up the room, her heart was full of compassion for the underdog. She was giving, had a quick wit and delightful sense of humor.

While life had been difficult the last few years, she fought hard to stay clean.

She never gave up and didn’t let addiction define her.

She worked hard to replace and repair everything that addiction had stolen from her.

On January 15th, she would have achieved eighteen months being clean.

In 2012, Olivia gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, Annaya Kay Humes.

Annaya was the center of her Olivia’s world. She loved her “punkin butt” very much.

Not a day would pass that Annaya’s momma would not tell her “you’re perfect”.
