National Weather Service issues winter storm warning for Bartholomew County

COLUMBUS, Ind. — The National Weather Service has updated its forecast for Bartholomew County, issuing a winter storm warning effective from 1 to 7 a.m. Wednesday with heavy mixed precipitation expected.

Total snow accumulations are now listed at 3 to 6 inches with winds gusting to 35 mph, according to Bartholomew County Emergency Management.

Hazardous road conditions could impact the morning and evening commute.
