RUSHVILLE
Betty L. Barker, 88 of Rushville, passed away on February 1, 2023 in Columbus. She was born on February 2, 1934 in Rushville to the late Henry and Mable (Green) Bradley. Betty was a 1952 graduate of Mays High School. She married Roy Barker on June 1, 1952 and he preceded her in death on April 15, 2003. Betty worked in the school cafeteria at Lincoln Elementary in Columbus. She enjoyed being a homemaker for her family.
Betty is survived by her sons, Jeffrey (Angela) Barker of Elizabethtown, Bradley (Tammy) Barker of Columbus and Brian (Nan) Barker of Avon; sister, Joann Fields of Rushville. She will also be missed by her 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Betty is preceded in death by her parents, husband and grandson, Jerob Barker.
Services will be held on Monday, February 6, 2023 at 1 PM in Moster Mortuary, with Pastor Chip West presiding. Friends are welcome to visit the family from 11 AM until the time of service in the mortuary. Burial will be held in East Hill Cemetery.
