COLUMBUS
Robert (Bob) W. Reed, Jr., 64, of Columbus, Indiana, passed away peacefully on February 12, 2023, due to lung cancer. Born in Florida in 1958, Bob was raised and lived most of his life in Indiana.
He is survived by sons, Robert S. Reed, Joseph W. Reed, and Christopher D. Reed; Mother, JoAnne Shepherd; Half-siblings, Kandace L. Shepherd and David C. Shepherd; Loving ex-wife, Linda Reed (Dinkins) and five grandchildren. He also leaves behind many loving relatives and caring friends.
He was preceded in death by a stepfather, David L. Shepherd; Half-sibling, Edward R. Shepherd; Grandparents, Ernest C. and Alice D. Shepherd, Mary F. Greathouse and Evin Buster, Sr.
In keeping with Robert’s request, cremation will take place and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
