Panthers rout Franklin
NORTH VERNON — Class 4A No. 9 Jennings County jumped out to a 36-23 halftime lead Friday night and went on to close the regular season with a 75-49 win against Franklin.
Carter Kent led the Panthers (20-2) with 22 points and six rebounds. Owen Law scored 18 points, Keegan Manowitz had 12 points and six assists and Darius Thomas added 10 points.
Cougars close with win
KNIGHTSTOWN — South Decatur finished the regular season with a 69-43 win at Knightstown.
Jacob Scruggs led the Cougars (12-11) with 23 points. Dorian Hacker scored 17, and Jaylynn McMurray added eight.
