PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. — Tyler Duncan remained in contention going into the final day of The Honda Classic by firing a 2-under-par 68 in Saturday’s third round.
The Columbus North graduate, who had opened with back-to-back 67s Thursday and Friday, is tied for sixth-place at 8-under 202. He had four birdies and two bogeys Saturday at PGA National Resort, The Champion course.
Duncan is just five shots behind leader Chris Kirk, who is at 13-under 197 through 54 holes, and three shots behind second-place Eric Cole, who is at 11-under 199.
