BARTHOLOMEW COUNTY — The Indiana Department of Transportation announces the southbound left lane and right shoulder closures on I-65 at the 65.5 mile marker, between Walesboro and Columbus.
On or after Thursday, crews are expected to begin the installation of an overhead messaging board. Work is expected to begin at 9 p.m. and last until 6 a.m. Several rolling slowdowns are scheduled to take place during this timeframe and will each last approximately 15 minutes.
All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
INDOT encourages drivers to consider worker safety by slowing down, using extra caution and driving distraction-free when travelling in and around all work zones.
